Happiness Postcards!

Hello!

Welcome back to my blog along with the third post of this week and this time it is on Happiness Postcards. I know there hasn't been a beauty post in a while but there will be one next week when the schedule of one post a week is back. I love what I am writing about today and I hope that you will like it just as much as I do. Enjoy!

For me, happiness postcards are all about bringing a little bit of joy to someone. I like to give/send them to people to say thank you, cheer someone up if they are having a bad day or just to be kind either way it always  a great way to make someone's day.

I like to buy the post cards from a place called Presence in Watford so if you live in that area you can buy them from there but if you don't live anywhere near Watford you can also buy them from Paperchase and they do some really great ones in there so definitely check out your nearest store or online.

I know this has been a short post but there isn't really a lot to say apart from they are a great way to cheer people up and make them happy. Thanks for reading,

Insomnia

Hello!

Today I am doing another life related post and it is on a topic that I deal with everyday called Insomnia. I don't want to waffle on at the beginning instead I just want to get on with the post and raise awareness on this subject.

The official definition or Insomnia is Habitual sleeplessness; inability to sleep. Every night when I go to bed I lie awake for a ridiculous amount of hours and normally I won't get to sleep before 2am unless I am super tired. I am still in school so not getting enough sleep is really bad and just makes everything a lot more stressful. Recently I only got around an hour of sleep but I still had to go in, complete a six hour day at school, then come home and nap immediately. I nearly fell asleep in English but not quite because my friend kept me awake.

There are some people that suffer with very mild to mild Insomnia which means most of the time they get the amount of sleep they need. Others like me can have mild to a more extreme case of Insomnia which is when you cant get to sleep most nights or wake up lots in the night.

There are many different things that you can do to help with insomnia including going to bed around the same time every day, listening to calming or relaxing music or not using electronic devices before bed and reading a book instead of watching your favourite show on Netflix. Doing all these things could contribute to a better nights sleep and they really do help me especially the one about listening to music.

You can find more information on Insomnia on the NHS Choices Website including causes, treatment and more information on what it is. I hope that have learned something from this post and that you found it interesting learning something new or gaining more information on Insomnia (I wonder how many times I have used that word in this post). Thanks for reading,

Book of the Month: October

Hello!

Sorry that I haven't been around for a few weeks but to make up for it I am going to be uploading 3 posts this week including one today, one tomorrow and one on Saturday. Today I am doing my 'Book of the Month' for October, Wednesday's post is going to be on Insomnia and on Saturday I am going to do a post on Happiness Postcards. I hope that you guys are looking forward to the other two posts but for now here is my 'Book of the Month' for October.

Title: The Bunker Diary
Author: Kevin Brooks
Rating: 4 Stars
Price: £7.99 (RRP)

Blurb: I can't believe I fell for it.

It was still dark when I woke up this morning. As soon as my eyes opened I knew where I was.

A low-ceilinged rectangular building made entirely of whitewashed concrete. There are six little rooms along the main corridor.

There are no windows. No doors. The lift is the only way in or out. What's he going to do to me? What am I going to do?

This book is written in the form of a diary (hence the name) and is about a teen that ran away from home, had been living on the streets and was then kidnapped. As you go through the book more people are introduced, rivalries begin and they try to find ways to get out but they can't because if they do they get punished. It's interesting to read about the different people's stories and why they ended up in the bunker. With six very different personalities things soon begin to get tense with emotions running high and someone constantly watching them.

I thoroughly recommend reading this book as really opens your eyes and gives you an insight to things that could actually happen to people and do happen in some countries. I hope you enjoyed reading my review, that you go out, buy the book and give it a good read because I think that you will really enjoy it. Thanks for reading,

Favourite Nail Polishes for Autumn/Winter

Hello!

Sorry this post is a little late but I was having alot of issues with the photographs and the downloading/uploading of them. Today I am continuing on with the autumn/winter theme from the 'Top 5 Beauty Products for Autumn/Winter' by writing all about my favourites shades and nail polishes for this time of year. A lot of the colours are darker shades and a couple of the polishes came in a big set that I got last year for Christmas so I'm not sure that it is still available but if I can I will try and link the exact set on the product index page. However if I can't find it then I will link brands with similar colours. Enjoy!

The first two nail polishes are from the Barry M original collection and they are in the shades '312, Indigo' and '334, Teal'. Teal is an amazing sparkly teal shade (as the name would suggest) and I love it because it is great for the run up to Christmas before the sparkly red nail polish comes out and I love to wear it in November. Indigo is also a really nice shade to wear in November as the weather starts to get a little colder and the two shades actually look really good together if you use Indigo on most of the nails and then use Teal as an accent nail.

The next two are both different shades of red and they are by the brand Technic from the big set that I was talking about. The darker shade is called 'Purple Thistle' which is a bit confusing as it is a dark red/burgundy  and the second one is 'Red Berry' which is just a bit darker than your classic pillar box red. I love wearing 'Red Berry' on Christmas day with a sparkle on top but 'Purple Thistle' would also be a great shade to wear with a silver accent nail.

The final nail polish that I love is the Tanya Burr Cosmetics 'Midnight Sparkles'. This shade is going to be discontinued fairly soon but there is a shade in the new range that is fairly similar called 'New York Night' however it is a little bit lighter. 'Midnight sparkles' is a gorgeous purple with light purple and slightly pink sparkle running through it, another perfect shade for autumn/winter.

This concludes my favourite autumn/winter nail polishes . I hope that this post may have inspired you to try out a few new shades and colour combinations on the lead up to Christmas. As I have said in a previous post, unfortunately there won't be any posts for 2 weeks but after that there will be a few more autumn/winter themed posts. Thanks for Reading,

Etsy!

Hello!

First of all I'm so sorry that this post is a day late but I would just like to inform you that I have decided to change the day that I put up a post to Sunday. I am going to be a mini series on my favourite social media and this is the first out of the four and you can also expect one in November, one in December and one in January I have decided to start with the one that I see as the most creative, Etsy. I love this app/website and I hope that you want to hear all about it. Enjoy!

If you don't all ready know what Etsy is or use it then I definitely recommend that you check it out! Etsy is basically a massive online department store if you will that contains loads of little shops set up by people all around the world. It was originally an American website but expanded so that anyone, no matter where they are can shop over a wide range of departments from stickers to bunting to blog templates, however it does depend on the shop when it comes to shipping and delivery. The main payment on Etsy is PayPal but once again, depending on the shop you may be able to pay with your debit/credit card.

Favourite Etsy Shops:

Little Lottie Handmade - This shop is owned by a friend of mine called Charlotte and she sells little hanging hearts and stars that smell of lavender. It is a fairly new store so please go and show it some love because I honestly want one of each of the items. (Payment by PayPal and UK shipping only)

Plum Paper Designs - This shop is all about daily planners that can be personalised just for you. They have a wide range of designs and many of them are printed with your name or initials on the front with different layouts depending on your lifestyle. There are regular, monthly, family, teacher, student, wedding and fitness & meals planners that all have a slightly different layout inside. You can also by add-ons to your planner if you need extras of different things and these don't add a lot to the low price of around £20. (Payment by PayPal, all major credit/debit cards and Etsy gift cards, international shipping)

Ellie Beth Designs UK - This shop is all about stickers for your planner, diary, calendar or journal. I am slightly obsessed with stickers and this to me is heaven when it comes to super cute and vibrant ones. I love how creative and colourful all the stickers are and I also love the fact that they are just the right size to add a little something to your planners, diaries etc.

That is it and I hope that you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. The next instalment on my favourite social medias will be out on in the middle of November but before then I have a few more autumn/winter related posts coming, however after next weeks, there will be no more posts in the rest of October. In the meantime thanks for reading,

Life: Bullying

Hello!

Today I want to touch on a fairly sensitive topic that is quite close to me and it has taken me a while to pluck up the courage to sit down and write this post let alone put it up but I have decided to just bite the bullet. I hope that no one takes this post the wrong way and that they think of it as a positive thing as I will be giving tips on how to deal with issues like this towards the end. This is my bullying experience.

Going back to the days when I was in Year 2 one of my really good friends suddenly turned on me. I wasn't really sure why to be honest considering I was only 6 at the time but it was really upsetting and at first I just thought that she was just annoyed about something else and was just letting her anger out but then it continued. She started to call me names and also started to manipulate people into being mean to me, she then started lying to the teachers telling them that I had said all manner of bad things to her when it was actually the other way round.

Eventually I started to become quite depressed in a way and was very upset every time I came home from school and my mum started to notice something was wrong. She had to ask what was wrong so many times before I told her because I didn't want to get anyone into trouble but I one day I just gave in. My mum told the head teacher everything was sorted out  and we were back to being friends because you don't really consider letting go of people that aren't worth your time when you're 6.

Even though everything was resolved and we were friends again after the event, every year in primary school after this the girl did the exact same thing to me. In the end I just started to ignore her comments and by the first half of  year 6 it seemed like she had pretty much given up. However this didn't last and she started to give me a lot more verbal abuse than before calling me much worse names and telling teachers that I was swearing at her, shouting at her, hitting her etc.

Once again I just blocked everything out as I knew that we were going to be going to different secondary schools in a few months time and I didn't see the point in making a fuss so I just left everything and moved on with my life. Now that you have heard my story I'm just going to list a few ways to deal with bullying:

- Tell someone about the problem. This could be a teacher, peer, family or a friend

- Ignore the bully. It might be hard and I know that everyone tells you to do this but it is effective because they will get bored.

- Tell them to stop taking their anger out on you because you never know, they might listen.

- Ask if they are okay, I might see difficult to feel sympathy but they might just want some reassurance and a hug.

That's all for todays post. I will do some more life posts in the future including dealing with anxiety as well as problems at home. In the next few weeks you can look forward to a couple of Halloween posts that I have planned as well as a few winter related ones. Unfortunately there won't be a book of the month because I haven't finished reading my book from last month. Anyway I hope that you liked this type of post and that you don't mind something a little different. Thanks for reading,

xo, Chantel

Top 5 Beauty Products for Autumn/Winter

Hello!

Today I have a beauty post and I haven't done one of these in a while and I felt like I need to considering this blog used to be strictly beauty. As the seasons are now changing once again I thought that it would be nice to share my top 5 beauty products for autumn/winter. Enjoy!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Hot Cloth Cleanser - I have mentioned this product in previous posts because I love it  so much.  I use this product all year round but I particularly love it in the colder months because it is really hydrating and makes my skin super soft. In case you were wondering I have Combination to Normal skin and I find it works really well for my skin type but if you have a different skin type on the bottle it says that it is ideal for all skin types so give it a try because I definitely recommend it!

Lush Lip Scrub in Bubblegum - This is by far the best lip scrub I have used as it makes my lips really smooth and nourished especially if I use the Blistex MedPlus afterwards (which I will get to later). By using the lip scrub you are making a smooth base which means when you apply a coloured lip product it will glide on nicely and look way better on with smooth lips rather than with chapped lips.

Blistex MedPlus - This product is by far the best nourishing and repairing lip balm ever! When you apply the balm it sinks into your lips and they go all tingly, this is how you know it is working on repairing chapped lips and nourishing them at the same time. In the winter I get severely chapped and dry lips so this product is great for me but I also have an anxious habit that I developed in primary school due to bullying (post on this topic coming in the future). When I feel anxious or stressed I pick at the skin on my lips causing them to bleed and become more chapped so this product is honestly a life saver! I like to apply this product at night before I go to bed as I love waking up and seeing the difference in my lips so definitely give it a try!

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter - I love Soap & Glory and I especially love this product! I have fairly bad eczema that just gets worse in the winter and have been on the hunt for a great body lotion/butter for a long time. My friend then bought me this and I now swear by this product because it is so good at moisturising my extremely dry skin. I also recommend trying The Body Shop's body butters if you don't like the scent of the Soap & Glory but seriously, who wouldn't?

Garnier Micellar Water - The final product I am going to talk about is my cleansing water that I use to take off my makeup before I use my Liz Earle. The reason I love this cleansing water so much is because it is really hydrating so when you take off your makeup it doesn't dry out the area. I use like the fact that it is good for sensitive skin which means I don't have a reaction when I use it because it is so gentle.

That is it for my top 5 beauty products for autumn/winter. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did leave me a comment telling me one of your favourite products for autumn/winter. Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and if you are interested in any products they will be linked on the 'Product Index' page. Thanks for reading,

Book of the Month: August

Hello!

Today I'm back with another 'Book of the Month' and I know that I missed last months but that is purely because I didn't actually read a book in July, I just started one at the end of the month. For August's book I have chosen 'Paper Towns' by John Green and this book has recently been made into a film that you might have seen already.

Enjoy!

Title: Paper Towns
Author: John Green
Rating: 5 Stars
Price: £7.99 (RRP)

Blurb: The thing about Margo Roth Spiegelman is that really all I could ever do was let her talk, and then when she stopped talking encourage her to go on, due to the facts that
1. I was incontestably in love with her, and
2. She was absolutely unprecedented in every way, and
3. She never really asked me any questions. . .

Quentin Jacobsen has always loved Margo from afar. So when she climbs through his window to summon him on an all-night road trip of revenger he cannot help but follow. But the next morning, Q turns up at school and Margo doesn't. She's left clues to her disappearance, like a trail of breadcrumbs for Q to follow.

If you have seen the film then you probably won't be interested in reading the book as you know what happens but if you haven't then continue reading to find out what I thought about the book.

The book was a really interesting read and I found it really easy to be sucked into Margo and Quentin's world. The book covers many different topics such as first love, bad relationships, different kids of friendships and it just got more interesting as they story unfolded and the clues were solved. I also really enjoyed the part when they went on the road trip as it sounded really fun and you could just imagine them doing all of the different things in your head

Thanks for taking the time to read this months 'Book of the Month' and as always leave a comment telling me your favourite book from August and any books that you would recommend I read. Also don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and share with your friends if you enjoyed as It really means a lot.

Brand Focus: Maybelline

Hello!

Today I am starting a new thing on my blog called 'Brand Focus' which may have seen on other beauty blogs out there. I have decided to do this as another kind of monthly thing along with 'Book of the Month' just so that you guys know you are going to get at least two posts a month.

Anyway, todays brand focus is Maybelline and I am going to be featuring a few of my favourite eye products, but I also want to talk about the face powder I have by them that I love. Enjoy!

The first products I want to talk about are the Maybelline Colour Tattoos in '35 - On and on Bronze' and '98 - Creamy Beige'. I love these and have mentioned two other colours before in my 'Brighton Beauty Haul' and love those but I love these ones more. The shade Creamy Beige makes a really nice base colour for a bolder eyeshadow and it really helps the colours that you put over it pop. On and on Bronze can also make a nice base for a gold-bronze eyeshadow look but as well as that it can look really nice by itself so if you are in a rush you can just pop some of this all over your lid lend the edges with a fluffy blending brush such as the MAC 217 and you're ready to go!

The next Maybelline products I want to talk about are the Maybelline Linerefine Expression Kajal Soft Kohl Liner in '38 - Brown' and '33 - Black'. These eyeliners are my go to currently as they have good pigmentation and staying power. I like to pop the brown one on my waterline nearly everyday as it is more subtle than the black but I also like to use the black one if I have done something along the lines of a smoky eye tat day. These eyeliners are also a complete bargain at the price of only £3 and they are honestly better than I thought they were going to be for that price.

The penultimate product I am going to talk about is the Maybelline 'The Nudes' Eyeshadow Palette. This palette is great for the price and I was so shocked with how good it is when I first bought it. I know that there are a lot of drugstore palettes on the market that this one has to compete with but I will honestly say that it is in my top 3. The palette is priced at £10 and I am happy to pay that price for the quality and pigmentation of the shadows and I would recommend it to beginners as it has colours that are wearable to school/uni/work, shimmery shades for outings such as parties and it is very affordable.

The last product I am going to talk about is the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in '355 - Coconut'. This powder is one of the very few face powders that I own and I really like it because it is light and mattify's my face with out looking cakey and over the top. As you can see I have hit pan slightly and the writing is starting to rub off but that just proves how much I use it and like it. It also has a mirror underneath the powder if you lift up the kind of compartment thing.

That is the end of my first 'Brand Focus' post and I hope that you enjoyed reading about my favourite Maybelline products and I'd like to here your favourites so leave comment telling me all about them. Also, don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' for updates every time I put up a new post for you all to enjoy. Thanks for reading,

My Holiday 2015: Cornwall

Hello!
So today I have a slightly different post to usual as it is going to be all about my holiday this year and I thought it would be nice to share what I did and just basically show you my week. This year I went to Falmouth, Cornwall for a week with my Mum, Dad and sister here stayed in a cute place called Stable Cottage. We spent alot of time on the beach (obviously) but we also had a shopping day in the nearby town centre in Truro.

I don't really have alot else to say so instead of writing out everything we did I have decided to upload most of the photos that I took on my phone, my week in photos.

Thanks for reading,

Book of the Month: June

Hello!

I know this post is well overdue and I am really sorry about that. I recently had a comment left saying how I hadn't stuck to my blogging schedule and I am really sorry about that. The fact is that I have been really busy these last couple of months preparing for end of year exams and my big dance exam. I hope that you can understand this and that you will forgive me.

Now that is out of the way I am going to actually get on with the post, enjoy my 'June Book of the Month!'
Title: The Glam Guide
Author: Fleur De Force
Rating: 5 Stars
Price: £14.99 (RRP)

Blurb: As one of the world's top beauty and fashion vloggers, Fleur De Force is an expert on all things glam. Here she shares with us her essential collection of tips and advice for looking wonderful and feeling truly stylish. More than just a beauty manual, The Glam Guide is also about embracing a chic and fulfilling lifestyle and touches on a wide range of subjects including:

* MAKEUP *

* HAIR *

* HEALTH AND FITNESS *

* BODY IMAGE *

* RELATIONSHIPS *

Whether updating your make-up bag, rethinking your wardrobe or just wanting to give yourself a much needed confidence boost The Glam Guide will help you become your most fabulous self.

So from the blurb you now know a  bit more about the book and you may be interested in buying it, but if your not quite sure then read on because now I am going to tell you why I like it so much.
I personally like The Glam Guide because of the amount of useful tips about anything from make-up to your handbag. The drawings in the book are beautiful and it is also really well written. If you are new to the world of makeup then the information on different products is perfect for you or maybe you over pack your handbag, Fleur's list of everything she carries could become your guide.

I just love this book and everything about it!

That is all I have to say on June's book of the month as I don't really have any words to describe how much I love this book and if Fleur ever releases another book then I'm sure it will fly off the shelves just like this on did. Don't forget to leave a comment with any suggestions for blog posts, follow me on Bloglovin', and thanks for reading.

Where have I been?

Hello!
A lot of you have probably been wondering where I have been and my answer is busy. I have been very, very busy! With the last term of school, end of year exams were approaching along with my dance exam. This meant that any spare time for 2 months was spent revising for important exams that determined my GCSE Maths, English and German groups or practising for my dance exam which was very important for me to pass so that I could move up a level in my dancing.

I hope that a lot of you can understand that I am approaching a very important time in my life regarding education and therefore posts may be shorter, not what you were hoping for or there might not be one consistently each week. I will try my best over the summer to not only post every week but also take time to take good pictures and write quality content for each post that goes up. A lot of my blog posts don't actually make the final cut as I do not think that they are up to scratch but I am working on it, I promise.

If you took the time to read this then I thank you and I hope you stick with me. If you have any posts that you would like to see or any ideas leave a comment and let me know. Also tell me how you think I could improve my blog to make it more enjoyable to read, don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and thank you once again,

Book of the Month: May

Hello!

Today I am starting a new series on my blog called 'Book of the Month'. I am really excited about this as I have never done anything like this before (as in book reviews) and I absolutely love reading and love discovering new books. I have decided to start this series as I think that everyone should read at least one book per month as it can really open your eyes and is a chance for you to let go and let your imagination run wild as you create an image in your head of what is happening in the book!
Anyway, I hope you are looking forward to this as much as I am, so without any further waffling I am going to introduce May's Book of the Month!

Title: Young, Gifted & Dead
Author: Lucy Carver
Rating: 4 Stars
Price: £6.99

Blurb: Welcome to St Jude's Academy, the elite boarding school where the students are beautiful, talented and dangerously out of control...

New girl Alyssa is on a scholarship and feels like an outsider - she's not even that smart, apart from her freaky photographic memory. Then one day her room-mate Lily is found dead. It looks like suicide, but, torn apart by guilt and grief, Alyssa is convinced that things aren't as they seem. Soon a jolted memory puts her on the trail of a sinister secret that might hold the clues to Lily's suspicious death.

But Alyssa is in too deep, and she's about to find out that some things are better forgotten...

If by reading that blurb you aren't interested then you might as well click off now, but if you are intrigued then I just want to say this book is amazing! In the beginning, I'm not going to lie at first it wasn't that gripping but I pushed on, and I am so glad that I did because afterwards I did not want to put it down! It became really interested with an unexpected plot twist that made all the tables turn and blew theories to smithereens until there was only one possible answer. It is a very clever, well thought-out book with lots of lose ends that only get tied up at the end of the book when it all comes together.

Overall I would really recommend this book and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the beginning wasn't as good but it definitely got better. There is also a Young, Gifted & Dead 2 called 'Killing you Softly' which I have not read yet but will do in the future. I hope you think about going out and buying this book and making it your June Book of the Month.

Brighton Beauty Haul

Hello!
In my previous post I mentioned that I was going to be doing some 'Brighton Hauls' and this is going to be the first of two!

Before I start rambling on about this, that and the other I just want to say that I am not trying to brag in any way, but that it was my birthday and I just wanted to have a good time shopping with my best friend whether I spent or not.

Everything in this haul was bought with my money apart from one thing which was a gift but it is all from Boots or Superdrug so everything is affordable and I did not go and spend hundreds of pounds. You can also find links to everything mentioned in this blog post under the 'Product Index' tab.
Enjoy!

So as you can see I bought quite a lot of eye makeup as it's my favourite but I also got a few lip products as they are not really my thing but I do want to have a few different shades of lipstick/lip gloss to complement my eye makeup. I also bought a concealer as I needed a new one and had voucher for No7.

I got this palette from my friend for my birthday but thought I would include it anyway. When I got this palette I was surprised and a little disappointed as I honestly thought it would be bigger, however after using it I was converted and I love how small it is as that make it easy to take away, not to mention all the colours have great pigmentation and blend really nicely. The only thing I would say is that the palette would be perfect if it had a mirror instead of a clear lid as then you would have good eye shadows and a mirror to do your makeup in.

Next I got these two colour tattoos in 'Vintage Plum' and 'Permanent Taupe'. I have used both colours by themselves and as bases and they are perfect for both as the pigmentation is amazing and they are super blendable; perfect for a smoky eye or simply as they are.

That is it for part 1 of this haul! I hope you enjoyed reading and the other half will be up next Saturday and will feature the other items that I bought. I just decided to split it up as I did buy quite a lot of stuff and I didn't want this post to be super long. Please leave a comment on your beauty favourites and what you would recommend , thanks for reading,

xo, Chantel.

I'm Back!!

Hi Guys,

After all this time away I am finally back!

I got the 'asus vivobook' for my birthday yesterday and because of that I can now write my blog posts whenever I feel like it and that will hopefully mean more content for you guys! The next few posts will be about my trip to Brighton with my friend Elizabeth (who also has a blog that she will be restarting soon) the blog posts will include hauls, my makeup, what I wore and lots of photos, so I hope you are looking forward to that!

That's it for todays quick post, I hope that you will come back to read my future posts but for now -

Beauty Monday: Evening Winter Skincare

Hi Guys,

First I would like to say the biggest sorry in the world as I have missed so many posts recently and I feel so bad and also it's Beauty Monday but on a Tuesday. I have missed so many posts because I haven't been having the best of times recently and I felt like anything that I did post wouldn't be good enough and you guys don't deserve that so I took at little break and now i'm back! Sorry for that long intro there now back to the post.
Today I am doing a post on my winter evening skincare because now it is December it is officially Winter so this was definitely the right time to put up this post. Enjoy!

Step 1: Remove the Make-up!!

In the evenings after a long day at school I love it when I can finally take off all the makeup and other nasties that have been building up on my skin throughout the day. To remove my make-up I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and this honestly takes your make-up off without really having to put in that much effort all you have to do is buy it.

Step 2: Cleanse

The next thing I do is go into the bathroom and cleanse my face using the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish in Orange and Mint. This is the limited edition version of the cleanse and polish and it is definitely my favourite Liz Earle scent. If you want a more in depth review of this cleanser then click here to read my previous review.

Step 3: Tone

Now this step isn't necessary but i like to just like to pop at little bit of the toner onto a cotton pad and sweep it across my face to get rid of any excess oil or any other dirt left on my face after using the Micellar Water and cleansing with the Liz Earle. The toner I use is also Liz Earle and it is their Instant Boost Skin Tonic and this is my favourite toner ever!!

Step 4: Moisturise

The final step and if you want good skin DON'T miss it out!! Moisturising is one of the most important steps out of all of them because after you have taken the time to remove makeup, cleanse and tone you don't want it to go to waste buy leaving your skin as it will go dry, tight and just wont feel very nice.
The cream I use in the evening is the Human + Kind Skin Lightening Cream I love this cream for the night time because I have combination skin and this cream is non-oily which I love and in the morning when I wake up my skin feels so nice. I also use the Simple Kind to Eyes Soothing Eye Balm as I prefer to use a different cream that is more suited for under my eyes.

That my friends is my evening skincare routine! I personally think that all of these products work brilliantly for my skin and I am not saying that my skin is perfect but by using all these products it is definitely getting better. I would also like to say that this is not a sponsored post but I am just really loving Liz Earle at the moment and genuinely think that Liz Earle is a great brand even if it is more expensive than say Simple but I love that brand too. Thanks for Reading,

On Sunday 19th of October I went to ZSL London Zoo with my mum, dad and sister as a treat for my sister as it was her birthday last Thursday.

All I really want to say is that we all loved it, that the animals were great, the fish beautiful and my favourite, the penguins. Enjoy the pictures!
